Where deadlines go to die

So – deadline’s work, I’ll admit… only sometimes.

Case and point = a friend of mine, being a writer too, coaxed me to enter into a mission with him: we shall have one piece of new work finished by April the 2nd (on which day we are going to each sit in a warm leather chair, with a glass of bourbon aside, and read the other’s material). I’ve actually written less since that agreement was made… besides not being able to decide which work to try complete, I’ve only written one paragraph anyway. It’s miserable.
